General Guidelines (All Classes):

 

• Hair must be pulled back securely and off the face (bun for ballet; ponytail or braid for other classes).

• No jewelry permitted other than small stud earrings.

• No baggy clothing or extra layers permitted unless approved.

• All shoes must be clean and for studio use only. No street shoes in the dance studios.

 

Ballet:

• Girls: Ages 3-7- Solid pink leotard, pink tights, pink canvas ballet shoes

• Girls: Ages 8 & Up-  Solid black leotard, pink tights, pink canvas split sole ballet shoes

• Boys:  White fitted t-shirt, black tights or shorts, black ballet shoes

• Hair: A neat bun is required for all ballet students.

• No skirts or shirts are permitted.

Jazz:

• Fitted leotard or tank, dance shorts or leggings

• Jazz shoes required (tan or black)

• Fitted shorts.

• No flowy skirts or shorts

 

Lyrical/Contemporary:

• Fitted leotard, tank top, fitted shorts or leggings

• Barefoot or socks

• Hair must be secure.

• No flowy skirts or shorts

 

Tap:

• Fitted leotard or tank, dance shorts or leggings

• Tap shoes are required.

• Shorts must be fitted.

• Combo: Tan Mary Janes

• Tap 1-2: Black and White Spectator tap shoe

• Tap 3-4: Tan Oxfords

 

Hip Hop:

• Modest, comfortable athletic wear

• Clean sneakers that are used only inside the studio.

• Hair in style that is off the face.  

 

Acrobatics:

• Leotard or fitted tank with fitted shorts.

• No tights

• Barefoot

• Hair must be in a bun or braid for safety.

• No flowy shorts or skirts

 

Musical Theater/Acting:

• Modest, comfortable athletic wear

• Musical Theater: Jazz shoes required (tan or black)

• Acting: Jazz shoes preferred (tan or black) or socks

• Hair off the face

Competition Teams/Rehearsals:

• Follow the dress code per class.

• Bring all required shoes.

• Be prepared to match team attire as needed.
